Our Policy

Our policy is to guarantee that our colleagues and service providers work in conditions that which protect their health and ensure their safety

Safety has always been one of the founding values of the company and in particular, the respect for men and woman in all countries in which we work. With its commitment to the Global Compact programme, Arc International has reinforced this value. Safety begins by designing facilities and equipment which are safe to use. Risk analyses are made and regularly updated to define suitable provisions both for groups and individuals in order to ensure that employees are protected. In each operational unit, a safety team supervised by managers ensures that safety instructions are complied with and also monitors risk prevention. Medical surveillance is thus provided for all sites. Actions are undertaken to ensure that work stations are user-friendly in order to avoid the occurrence of work-related muscular skeletal disorders. Information programmes are set up to develop employees’ skills and keep them ‘safety conscious’ at all times. In operating units teams are trained to fight fires in order to protect company property and also to ensure service continuity for our customers.

Audits and inspections are regularly conducted in order to avoid any anomalies arising and to identify needs for improvement of our safety management system based on widely recognized international guidelines. In the event of an incident or accident occurring, the causes are immediately investigated in order to prevent the same event from affecting other group sites. These corrective actions are shared with all Group organisations as part of a preventive strategy.
